Wow! 🥰
I can't believe that this time last year I was excitedly cleaning and setting up this space in preperation to hold my first school holiday art classes, in my own space. 🎉
In this past year it has not only held held art classes for kids during the week, weekends and school holidays, I have also had the pleasure to hold staff Christmas parties, team building artworks, an artshow for the children, birthday parties, home school meet ups, playgroup art claases and kids yoga classes.
As well as a name change from Artastic Adventures to Balanced Brushes!
I am so grateful for everyones support, it is truely amazing!
This space means the world to me, I have created it for everyone to come and feel comfortable in their own skin, to have fun and enjoy creativity.
This also marks 4 years of providing these opportunities to the community, I hope to enjoy many more years in this space!
Thank you kindly for your support, I adore working with everyone who walks through my studio door!

Thursday 17th September
Today we learnt about Primary and Secondary Colours through colour mixing then we put these skilks together to make an art work of fish in a colour wheel.
Everyone did an amazing and I am super proud of you all!🫶
This marks the end of term 3 and I can't believe it! 😲 Has it gone quickly to anyone else?
This weekend I will kick off the school holidays with a joinr birthday party Saturday and the start of my school holiday activities Sunday! 🎉 I can't wait!!

Kids Art and Yoga
When I was working in Kindergarten and would see the amazing classroom set ups, I would joke with my teacher friends and say 'it would be great to see the real after shots' well today I took it for you all to see what real fun looks like.
I know it makes some cringe but it shows me so much learning, exploring and creativity. 🫶
We started the day with our story yoga then continued on with Arts and Crafts making whatever their little minds could think of, such as dream bedrooms, different animals and even a constilation painting, there were heaps more creations but I didn't quite get photos of them all 😂

Such industrous artists attended this afternoon, we worked hard on these parrots using our painting, cutting, drawing and decorating skills. 🎨🖌✂️🖍
Don't they look fantastic 👌
