Hi everyone 💕

I wanted to let you all know that I’ll be introducing a cancellation policy, as is now standard practice across most salons.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had several larger appointments cancelled at very short notice. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a large loss of income, and empty appointments that are impossible to refill at such short notice.

As many of you know, I run my salon on my own, with a FIFO partner and 5 very busy children I work around my family’s schedule. My appointment availability each week is limited, so every booking is truly valued.

I completely understand that unexpected situations arise, however as i have limited hours available to offer each week, short-notice cancellations have a real impact on my small business. I will however keep it minimal and reasonable.

Cancellation Policy

• 48 hours cancellation notice greatly appreciated.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $20 cancellation fee.

• Cancellations made within 1 hour of your appointment (or no shows) will incur a fee of 50% of the treatment cost.

💕 To My Lovely Ladies 💕

This is a post I’ve been putting off for some time, however the time has come to make some adjustments to some of my services.

As of 1st July, to tie in with the new financial year, there will be a small price increase to selected services.

Over the past three years, I have done my best to keep my pricing unchanged despite the rising costs of products, supplies and operating expenses. While I don’t like increasing prices, this adjustment will allow me to continue providing the quality treatments, products and service that you have come to expect from Beauty By Jess.

Please know that not all services will be affected, and I have worked hard to keep increases as minimal as possible.

If you have multiple services incurring a price rise in the one session please talk to me about a new personal price as I don’t want it to affect anyone too greatly.

I am so incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty and trust you have shown me over the years. As a small business owner, every appointment, recommendation, kind word and review means more than you know.

Thank you for your understanding. I look forward to continuing to care for all your beauty needs now and I to the future.

Wishing all my wonderful clients a very happy, safe and joyful Christmas and new year break!

I’d like to thank you all for your continued support of my small business this year! I appreciate every individual one of you, whether new or longstanding clients of mine!
