Have you ever had a day where you felt fine one moment, then suddenly sad, irritated, or overwhelmed the next and you couldn’t explain why? Or maybe you’ve noticed yourself reacting bigger than you meant to, and afterwards you wonder, “Why did that hit me so hard?”
These are very real signs of emotional dysregulation, and they’re far more common than people talk about. Often, it’s not the moment itself, it’s the accumulation of stress underneath. The constant doing, coping, managing, pushing through. Eventually the nervous system stops whispering and starts shouting.
This is the space where I support people. Whether it’s in my Blackwood clinic, online, or through local house visits, I help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and guide you toward steadier emotional footing. Not by suppressing feelings, but by helping your system feel safe enough to regulate again.
If you’ve been feeling reactive, sensitive, or “not quite yourself”, it’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with you. Your system is asking for support and that’s something we can work on together.
