GCFC Directors Sarah Turner (Speech Pathologist) and Linda Collier (Occupational Therapist) recently had the pleasure of visiting Little Leo’s Early Learning Centre in Killara to spend time with educators and families discussing child development.

The session focused on understanding developmental milestones, recognising early signs that a child may need additional support, and sharing practical strategies that families and educators can use to encourage participation, learning, communication, and regulation in everyday activities.

We loved the opportunity to connect with the Little Leo’s community and answer questions from families and staff. Early identification and support can make a significant difference, and empowering the adults around a child is one of the most effective ways to help children thrive.

A big thank you to the team at Little Leo’s Killara for welcoming us. We look forward to continuing to support local families and educators through collaboration, education, and practical strategies that help children reach their full potential.

We are a little late with our official ‘welcome to the team’ post… but we are so thrilled to introduce Bella to the GCFC team 🤍

Bella joined us back in January and works across both of our centres — Blaxland and Macquarie Park. Since starting, she has already become such a valued part of our team and we know so many of our families already adore her 🫶🏻

Bella brings such a calm, caring and thoughtful presence to sessions and we feel very lucky to have her at GCFC.

Welcome to the team Bella ✨
