Recovering from prostate surgery isn't a straight line β€” that's why we built a structured program to support you through every stage of your prostate cancer recovery πŸ’™

The program runs in three phases:

🟦 Prepare
Understand what to expect after surgery, learn to activate your pelvic floor muscles, and set yourself up with the strongest possible foundation before you even begin 🌿

🟩 Recover
Work on regaining bladder control, restoring pelvic floor function, and managing urinary leakage β€” with expert guidance every step of the way ✨

🟧 Rebuild
Build back your strength and fitness through supervised exercise, get guided support returning to the activities you love, and rebuild lasting confidence πŸ’ͺ

No two recoveries look the same, which is why your program is shaped around your individual goals and stage of healing. With evidence-based physiotherapy and genuine ongoing support, we're here to help you move forward with confidence πŸ’œ

Whether you're preparing for a prostatectomy or already on the road to recovery, we'd love to support you.

The evidence is clear: regular movement supports pelvic health, bladder control and overall wellbeing β€” movement really is medicine. πŸ’™

However you like to move β€” walking, swimming, yoga or a jog around the block β€” your pelvic floor benefits too. Small steps, big benefits ✨

Gold for the SPC Ninja Mums! πŸ’™πŸ’ͺ

Congratulations to our SPC Ninja Mums, who took home the gold medal in last week's 5-a-side futsal competition with a hard-fought 6–3 win over the talented Gold Diggers πŸ†

Who knew chasing a soccer ball around with your friends could bring so much joy? ✨

Movement doesn't have to be perfectβ€”it just has to be enjoyable. Whether it's futsal, walking, dancing, swimming or simply getting outside, finding ways to move that make you smile is what matters πŸŒΏπŸ’œ

A huge congratulations to Laila! πŸŽ‰πŸ’œ

We're so excited to celebrate Laila Harrity, our incredible Physiotherapy Assistant and exercise class teacher at Sydney Pelvic Clinic, on graduating with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS)! ✨

Laila brings so much enthusiasm, kindness and knowledge to every class she teaches πŸ’™. She has a wonderful ability to make our clients feel supported, encouraged and confident as they work towards their health goals. Whether she's assisting in the clinic or leading exercise sessions, her genuine care and positive energy shine through 🌿.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication Laila has shown throughout her studies while continuing to support our clients and team. We couldn't be prouder to have her as part of the Sydney Pelvic Clinic family and can't wait to see all that she achieves in the future πŸ’ͺ.

Please join us in congratulating Laila on this fantastic milestone!
