Egg freezing is no longer something women feel they need to justify. More women are choosing to preserve their fertility while they focus on their careers, travel, relationships and personal goals.

It’s important to understand that egg freezing isn’t a guarantee of pregnancy in the future, and success rates are closely linked to the age at which eggs are frozen.

In general, the earlier we have these conversations, the more options we have available.

One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is being part of someone’s journey - often through some of the most uncertain and emotional moments in their life.

This patient first came to see me after ongoing struggles with endometriosis following a previous surgery where significant endometriosis and adhesions had unfortunately remained. We performed further successful surgery and focused on helping her feel better, regain confidence, and move forward.

After spending time overseas, she was advised to consider IVF, but returned home feeling unsure and wanting another opinion. We had an honest conversation about her individual circumstances, and I reassured her that there was every reason to feel hopeful.

Then I received the most beautiful update - these photos of her baby boy 💙

Receiving messages like these never gets old. Thank you for trusting me and the team to be part of your journey - it’s a privilege I never take for granted.
