This year Daffodil Day celebrates 40 years of growing hope for people affected by cancer. When Daffodil Day first took roots in 1986, the 5-years cancer survival was approximately 46%. How do you know if someone is having a stroke? Think… F.A.S.T.

The Stroke Foundation recommends the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke. Using the F.A.S.T. test involves asking these simple questions:

📌 Face Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
📌 Arms Can they lift both arms?
📌 Speech Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
📌 Time Is critical. If you see any of these signs, call 000 straight away.

Welcome, Dr Sonia Ferrero!
Dr Ferrero graduated in medicine in Italy in 2001 and brings extensive clinical experience across geriatric medicine, mental health, sexual health, paediatrics and women’s health including family planning, obstetrics and gynaecology.
Having practised in Baldivis, Thornlie, Armadale and Bunbury, Dr Ferrero is a specialist GP with particular interests in:
• General medicine
• Sexual health
• Women’s health (not procedural)
