•Urgent Care Centre with 24-hour access (2 cubicles)
Boort District Health UCC offers medical officer onsite (whenever available), Rural
Isolated Practice Registered Nurse Service (RIPRN) (whenever available), My Emergency
Doctor Service, Victorian Virtual Emergency Department, and limited Registered nurse
led X-Ray Services (whenever available).

•Residential Aged care (25 aged care ensuites)
•Respite Care Services
•Transition Care Program (Hospital Based and Home Based)
•Dental health services (Public and Private oral health services)
•Community and home based Services under CHSP, DVA, HACC

Boort District Health operates Spanner Café, a Communal hub for residents, patients, visitors and staff (Opening hours 1030AM-2.30PM)

Boort District Health Volunteers operate the Opportunity Shop at Godfrey street. (Opening Hours : Tuesdays and Fridays 9am to 3pm; Saturdays 9am to 12noon)

Today, our team had the opportunity to share information with the Staying Strong Exercise Group about the FREE 24-hour Alto Holter Monitor and 24-hour Blood Pressure Monitor services available to our community through the Boort District Health District Nursing Team.

❤️ 24-Hour Alto Holter Monitor
A tiny, wire free portable device that records your heart's activity continuously over 24 hours.

🩺 24-Hour Blood Pressure Monitor
Records your blood pressure throughout the day while you continue your normal activities.

📄 Reports can be provided directly to you, or sent to your GP with your consent.

These services are available free of charge to our community.

If you've used the Virtual Emergency Department before, you might notice something different next time you log on... it's had a bit of a refresh 💫

While the look is new, everything that matters is the same: free, 24/7 video calls with real emergency doctors and nurses when you need care fast but it's not life-threatening.

Since it launched, it's helped over 900,000 Victorians get the care they needed without a trip to the Emergency Department. This update just brings it in line with Victoria's other urgent care services (like Urgent Care Clinics and Nurse-on-Call) so it's easier to find the right care at the right time.
