Even if it’s “just a small cut”… first aid might still be needed 🩹🩸
Cleaning and dressing shallow cuts properly doesn’t just remove dirt and bacteria, it also:
- Protects the wound from infection
- Promotes faster healing
- Reduces scarring
Minor wounds often only need basic first aid. But if it’s near your eyes, joints or it needs stitches, seek a doctor within 6 hours.
Always have an up to date first aid kit so you can treat any wounds promptly.
If the wound is deep, you feel faint or you can’t stop the bleeding, seek emergency care immediately.
