Equine & Animal Care Program - NEW!🌻

Glady and Co have created a new service that utilises animals to assist with improving self-regulation, stabilising emotions, building social connections and working on skill building goals in an enjoyable way!

This program is available now but is still developing, we currently have 8 rescue horses that have been retrained, but we will be slowly welcoming other animals and creating a community garden.

Glady and Co are developing a supported employment service - the equine and animal care program will be part of this program with opportunities for participants to find meaningful employment with the animals and around the farm 🌻

Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments? Join Glady and Co, a purpose-driven organisation supporting people with disabilities and mental health challenges, and make a meaningful difference every day.
As a Cleaner, you'll maintain our office spaces, and community hubs to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Working across multiple sites, you'll perform general and deep cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, waste removal, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance concerns.
We're looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual with previous cleaning experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle are essential, along with the ability to work respectfully within disability and mental health settings.
Experience in community, healthcare, or disability environments is highly regarded.

Glady and Co Disability and Mental Health Support have new group programs available to assist participants experiencing sub standard living conditions, regular periods of homelessness, or living in SRS/aged care facilities.

Location current vacancies - Eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Wantirna and Mooroolbark)

Short and Medium Term Program - recovery and resilience building short term programs with focus on improving daily life skills, social connections and improved capacity for maintaining independent living.
Program vacancies available in the equivalent of an Improved Liveability style premises.
Fully accessible premises available in 2025.
Core and Capacity building line items utilised with 24 hours support available.

Long Term Program - 12 month program with opportunity to extend depending on funding and needs of participant. Review of service agreement available at 6 months.
Vacancies available in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Wantirna and Mooroolbark) with potential vacancies becoming available in Northern and South East suburbs.
Programs focus on daily life skills and improving capacity to maintain independent living, working towards maintaining tenancies after the program.
Programs available in the equivalent of an Improved Liveability premises.
Fully accessible premises available in 2025.
Core and Capacity Building line items utilised with 24 hour support available.

The primary goal of these new supports programs are to give participants a safe and secure way to avoid living in aged care or SRS facilities, to have an option other than hospitalisation for recovery and growth, to have more options available when waiting for SDA or SIL housing.

The programs are staffed with a mixture of Disability and Mental Health Support Workers.
Long-term programs will provide the stability of a boarding agreement, with subsidised rent based on participants income.
