With a special interest in inflammatory arthritis, musculoskeletal diseases, and complex rheumatic diseases, Dr. Nataraja is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients. She is warm and kind, helping her patient to feel at ease. With a GP referral, Champa is available to see rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, GCA, gout, connective tissue diseases and complex rheumatology conditions in a timely manner.
About Champa:
As well as being a consultant rheumatologist, Dr Champa Nataraja is also physician-scientist and a fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Rheumatology and a member of the Australian Rheumatology Association. Champa completed her PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in 2020 from Monash University. She has presented her research at national and international conferences in Rheumatology (Lupus). She attends highly focused international meetings to stay up to date with the advancement in complex rheumatology conditions.
Outside of work, Champa has a passion to help underprivileged students with their schooling in India. She is also a nature lover who enjoys long track walks.
