Well it’s been years of planning, months of paperwork, brand new septics, tonnes of concrete, miles of timber & head scratching planning how to install the fire cladding, but we are seeing our Pharmacy Expansion coming together.

The extension being built on the back of the current pharmacy building is at the point of the exterior Colourbond tin being installed over the proboard fire cladding. In the interior, our two consult rooms, bathroom & the staff room are being prepped for installing gyprock. Thank you to Roger, Brickwood Contruction, Jack, Mitch, Josh, Brickwood Carpentry & Jordan, Amos, Dexter from TurnPro Constructions for making it happen.

The expansion into the “hair dressers” begins tomorrow. The team from 3build will be on site, working towards replacing the roof (it leaks!!) replacing & lowering the floor (it’s 250mm higher than the pharmacies) & removing the three brick walls between the two buildings (while providing new supports for the roof to sit on).

There will be a big skip bin out the front of the hairdressers to handle the waste materials, we apologise in advance for any parking issues & also for any chaos you encounter in the pharmacy over the next few months.

It’s a big job, we are so so grateful for every word of encouragement & support from our patients. We are really looking forward to sharing our new space.
