Thank you for taking part in the Menopause at Work project.

This survey aims to better understand how hormonal changes affect women in the workplace and how employers can better support women’s health, wellbeing, and productivity.

For the purposes of this survey, the term menopause is used as an umbrella term and includes perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), and other hormone-related symptoms that may affect women before, during, or after menopause. Unless otherwise stated, all references to menopause throughout this survey include these hormonal stages and conditions.

We recognise that hormonal symptoms can affect many aspects of life, including physical health, mental wellbeing, sleep, cognitive function, workplace performance, relationships, confidence, career progression, and overall quality of life.

Your responses will help identify common challenges, workplace barriers, and practical solutions. Findings may be used to inform workplace education, support programs, policy development, future research, and the book Menopause at Work.

Participation is voluntary. You may skip any question you do not wish to answer. Any stories or quotations used in publications will only be used with your permission and will be anonymised unless otherwise agreed.

WAVEDkids is a virtual Emergency Department that, where suitable, gives families the option to receive care at home rather than waiting in an emergency department.

The opening hours of the state-wide service have now been expanded to 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟎.𝟑𝟎𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟖𝐩𝐦.

Depending on your child’s needs, you may be referred to WAVEDkids for expert virtual emergency care provided by the same senior doctors and nurses who care for children in our EDs.

Two major updates to asthma guidelines 1. “Reliever” puffers are no longer considered the best option for relieving asthma & 2. If you’re using regular preventers properly (check your technique) & still struggling chat to your GP about a referral to a respiratory specialist to discuss “biologics” new treatments that can greatly improve severe asthma.
