Over the weekend, our Director, Hau Phan, had the honour of hosting a community gathering for women, “Women of Peace – A Balanced Life.”

The event created a warm and welcoming space for women to connect, share stories, build friendships, and encourage one another. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of community, kindness, and meaningful connection.

At First Support Australia, we believe inclusion is not only reflected in the services we provide, but also in the way we show care, respect, and support for the broader community around us.

A heartfelt thank you to every woman who attended and contributed to such a meaningful day. Congratulations to Hau Phan for bringing this vision to life. 👏🏽

Last week, we had the honour of celebrating Mother’s Day with some of our carers and participants.

It was such a beautiful day filled with connection and appreciation as we came together to celebrate the incredible women in our community. During the event, we also enjoyed a lovely flower-making activity, creating special moments together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. ✨

Clay making is more than just an activity it’s an opportunity to build confidence, encourage creativity, and support participants in exploring their abilities in a safe and welcoming environment.

Moments like these reflect what person-centred care is all about: creating meaningful experiences, encouraging independence, and making sure every individual feels supported, valued, and included.

What an incredible day!

Last week, we had the privilege of being part of the Disability Expo in Ballarat - and what an experience it was!

It was so meaningful to connect with the community, hear firsthand about the services people are looking for, and have real conversations about how First Support Australia can make a difference in people's lives.

We also loved the opportunity to talk openly about the NDIS and the latest changes because we know how important it is for people to feel informed and supported through it all.

And to the other providers we met along the way it was wonderful to connect, collaborate, and build those relationships within the sector. 🤝

Days like this remind us exactly why we do what we do. We absolutely cannot wait to be back next year! 💛
