An integrated brain is a bit like an orchestra. 🧠🎶

People often ask me what Brain Integration actually means. One of my favourite ways to explain it is this.

Imagine an orchestra. Every musician knows their part. Every instrument is perfectly tuned.

But without a conductor, the timing can be off and the music doesn't quite come together.

Our brain works in much the same way.

It's not just about individual areas of the brain working well. It's about those areas communicating, coordinating and working together at the right time.

That's where integration begins.

And this is exactly the kind of understanding we build through Simply the Brain and LEAP Foundation Training, from an approachable introduction to much deeper practitioner training.

If you're curious about Brain Integration but aren't sure which course is the right place to start, comment "BRAIN" below and I'll send you information about the different training options available based on your background.

What are The 5 Pillars, and why are these five muscles so important?

In this short clip, Marco Rado introduces the connection between the Five Pillars, the three body cavities, the Triple Heater and the Three Dan Tiens.

This is just the beginning of what Marco will be exploring with us in The 5 Pillars this October.

The real test of any course is what happens after you leave the classroom.

Are you using what you learned?
Has it become part of the way you work, think, or support yourself?

That's why I loved receiving this message from one of my students:

"I really value, love and respect you as one of my life teachers, from whom I have learnt so much and enjoy practicing the modalities I have learnt from you with myself and others."

She went on to say:
"Especially LEAP 1 and Attitudes with Essence. I look forward to more of your courses in the future."

For me, that's what learning should do.

It shouldn't simply give you more information. It should give you practical tools and understanding that you feel confident taking with you and actually using.

Whether you're looking for somewhere to begin or you're ready to deepen your existing kinesiology knowledge, there are different pathways available.

Attitude with Essence offers a wonderful introduction to working with emotions and energetic concepts.

LEAP takes you deeper into understanding the brain and how its different systems work together.

👉 I'll put the links in the comments so you can explore where your own learning journey might begin.

"For a little while, I forgot something important: I have the tools to bring myself back."

I recently received this beautiful reflection from someone who attended Marco Rado's The 9 Pains of the Heart, and I wanted to share some of her own words.

She wrote:

"Over the past few weeks, I found myself slipping into old patterns - feeling flat, disconnected, and not quite 'me.'"

As I worked through the Nine Pains, I could feel myself softening. My energy began to shift. My heart opened again. And slowly, I returned to myself - clearer, lighter, more connected to my higher self."

And then she shared something that I think beautifully captures the value of having practical tools you can return to:

"It reminded me how easy it is to drift away from our centre… and how beautifully we can return when we have the right tools."

This is one of the things I appreciate so much about Marco's teaching.

The learning doesn't have to stay in the classroom or in the pages of a manual. It gives practitioners tools they can continue exploring and applying long after the training has finished.

This is one of the things I appreciate so much about Marco's teaching.

And if you missed the opportunity to join us live, The 9 Pains of the Heart was recorded, so you haven't missed the training.

You can now learn with Marco online, in your own time and at your own pace. Pause when you need to, revisit the material, and return to the techniques whenever you want a refresher.

One thing I wish more people understood is this:
Just because someone struggles to learn...doesn't mean they lack intelligence.

Over the years, I've met many incredibly bright people who simply learned differently.

Some found reading difficult. Some struggled to concentrate. Others knew the answer but couldn't quite access it when they needed it.

Too often, these challenges become labels.

"They're not trying hard enough."
"They're just not academic."

But what if the problem isn't a lack of ability? What if the brain simply needs a different pathway?

One of the reasons I've dedicated so much of my career to Brain Integration is because I've seen what can happen when people are supported in a way that works with their brain rather than against it.

Sometimes the greatest change isn't teaching someone more. It's helping them access what was already there.

đź’¬ Have you ever experienced a moment when changing your approach made all the difference?

Curious to learn more? If you've ever wanted a clearer understanding of how the brain works and how Brain Integration can support your clients, this is the perfect place to begin.

Online Learning Is a Lesson in Neuroplasticity Too

There is something slightly ironic about spending decades teaching people about the adaptability of the brain and then discovering how difficult it can be to change your own established way of doing something.

I was comfortable teaching face-to-face. I knew how to do it.

Then circumstances forced me to develop a new pathway. My students had to do the same.

In many ways, that experience reflects something we discuss constantly when studying the brain: we can adapt, learn and develop different ways of approaching a challenge.

Today, I wouldn't want to return to spending six months of every year travelling through airports and hotels.

I still value face-to-face connection enormously. But I no longer believe that meaningful learning can only happen when the teacher and student are standing in the same physical room.

In fact, online learning has opened up possibilities I hadn’t really considered before. You can learn from wherever you are, pause when you need to, go back over something that didn’t quite make sense the first time, and work through the material at a pace that suits you.

And perhaps that is another little lesson in neuroplasticity. Sometimes we become very comfortable with how we have always learned, until we give ourselves the opportunity to try a different pathway.

Simply the Brain and LEAP Foundation Training courses are now available as self-paced online training, with the teaching and demonstrations recorded for you to work through in your own time.

So if you’ve been wanting to study with me but distance, travel or timing has made it difficult, you don’t have to wait for the next face-to-face course.

Come and study with me online.

When we work with clients, we don’t stop at the first thing that shows up. We go deeper.
Because it’s often in the layers, in beliefs, emotions, and essences where the full story unfolds.
