💜 June is Lipoedema Awareness Month 💜

Lipoedema is a chronic condition that causes an abnormal build-up of fat tissue, most commonly in the legs, hips and sometimes arms. It is often painful, can cause easy bruising, and is frequently mistaken for weight gain.

Many women spend years searching for answers before receiving a diagnosis.

At Sturt Road Physio, our lymphoedema and lipoedema physiotherapists Kate, Vicky, Joy and Lea can help with assessment, compression garment prescription, swelling management, exercise and education.
