Beautiful

No matter how long it has been, there will be days when you will simply feel fragile,
just as there will be days when you will feel a little stronger.

On these fragile days, treat yourself with the care of a small seedling,
just beginning to push up through the earth
to catch the nourishing rays of the morning sun.
Feed yourself with
tenderness, love and understanding.
Water the garden of your soul with affection.

Look for and lean on the support around you.
Just as the gardener may plant a stick
to help the emerging sapling,
we too, need this kind of support
until we are strong enough to stand firmly
on our own once again.

And when we ARE strong enough
and standing firmly....
we can reach out and be a support for others ...like us,
who are also in the healing place,
in this great garden of life.
