Who or what is it seeking health? What is this 'health' being sought? These may be fundamental insights helpful to understand in this life. Clarifying them may help us understand our path. Considering these will be part of the upcoming course mentioned in a previous post and details here.
Developing the fine arts of Relaxation, Concentration and Insight
A four-week online course for patients, family and friends of our clinic.
Learning how to relax our bodies and minds throughout the day helps us enjoy life more and contributes to better health.
Developing the art of single-minded focus allows us to function more effectively and is also relaxing. Faced with so many distractions we can learn how to focus on what is right before us now. This is also calming and beneficial for our health.
Relaxation and concentration lead to insight. Developing insight in to how our bodies and mind work can lead to more skillful care of ourselves and others.
Classes will include learning to sit quietly developing attention, practicing relaxation, and exercises to develop concentration and clarity. There will be short talks, and time for questions and discussion. Developing good questions about what seems to bother us the most develops insight in to who we really are.
