Late night video, on one of my favourites, motherwort.

This is a very unpolished video. It even cut me off at the end. But this is one I just wanted to say, get out there, and not go back and fix.

Today has been a big day. Twelve years since being in an ultrasound room and being told, “I’m sorry, there’s no longer a heartbeat.”

So I thought, instead of hiding away, why not take the chance to talk?

I have so many wonderful people who share their stories, their hearts and their vulnerabilities with me. So why not share a little of mine too?

And of course, I had to get a herb involved.

The herb that has helped me through today is motherwort.

She’s well known for her actions on the heart and cardiovascular system, but I think there’s something rather beautiful about motherwort when it comes to a grieving heart, too.

Sometimes the herbs we work with support us in ways that go beyond what we initially think of them for.

Cramp bark, it may seem that Its name gives it use away, but this herb has a much bigger story.

Cramp Bark while extremely useful in the place it is most well known for, menstrual cramps and pain.
Cramp bark has so many more areas in which it could be seen as a key herb.Tight shoulders. Clenched jaw. Tension headaches.Tense neck and back. That feeling of never quite being able to let go.
Getting to know our herbs beyond thier most common use is so important

Daylight savings is here, with different time zones all being at different times now this can cause significant confusion (which is totally understandable) when it comes to what time your appointment is booked for.

If you need any help, or any clarification on times, please feel free to send me a message :)

🌿 Rosemary is so much more than a garden herb.

You might know rosemary as the herb you throw over roast potatoes or use in the kitchen…

But there is a fascinating side to this familiar plant that many people don't know about... rosemary can be helpful in many conditions that maybe it wouldn't be a first thought in such as endometriosis, uterine fibriods and  menopause.

Sometimes the herbs we think we know best still have plenty left to teach us. One of the many reasons I love what i do..
