Sometimes the hardest part isn’t living with the symptoms.
It’s finally building up the courage to ask for help... only to be told to “drink more water”, “lose some weight”, “reduce your stress”, or that “everything looks normal.”
Meanwhile you’ve been living with the pain, the fatigue, the bloating, the heavy periods, the brain fog, or whatever it is... for years.
Too many women leave appointments questioning themselves instead of questioning whether they’ve been truly heard.
You know your body better than anyone.
That doesn’t mean every symptom has an easy answer. It doesn’t mean every doctor will have the answer either. But you deserve to be listened to, taken seriously, and investigated when something doesn’t feel right.
Keep asking questions.
Keep advocating for yourself.
And if you’re not being heard, it’s okay to seek a second opinion.
You are not “too much.”
You are not “just anxious.”
And you don’t have to accept feeling unwell as your normal. 🤍
