🌏 Making a difference where it's needed most.
Our Surgical Services team recently travelled to Weipa for a week-long ophthalmology clinic, helping bring specialist eye care closer to communities in remote Far North Queensland.
In just four days, the team delivered:
✅ 33 patient consultations
✅ 24 cataract surgeries
✅ 9 YAG laser procedures
The clinic was not only a fantastic opportunity to support patients with vital specialist care, but also provided an incredible learning experience for the team through a high volume and diverse range of procedures.
