OCT is a completely non-invasive imaging technique that uses light waves to photograph detailed cross-sectional images of the retina, optic nerve, and other important internal eye structures.

Living in Brisbane means beautiful sunshine year-round, but it also means higher exposure to harmful UV rays. Just like your skin, your eyes need protection too.

Long term UV exposure can contribute to conditions like pterygium, a growth on the white of the eye that may become red/irritated, and cataracts, where the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy over time, leading to blurred or dim vision.
