It’s okay to ask questions.
An NDIS assessment can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect or how the process works.
Being informed can help you feel more confident and prepared. Before your assessment, it’s okay to ask questions such as:
➡️ What will happen during the assessment?
➡️ What information should I bring or prepare?
➡️ How long will the assessment take?
➡️ What areas will be discussed or assessed?
➡️ When can I expect the assessment report or next steps?
During the assessment, the focus is on understanding your individual circumstances, your current abilities, and how your disability impacts your daily life, independence and participation.
After the assessment, understanding the expected timeframes and what happens next can help provide clarity and reduce uncertainty.
At Flexiwell, we believe everyone should feel informed, supported and comfortable throughout the assessment process.
