🪽 Something exciting is coming to Rainbow Butterflies… 🦋

Introducing Wings Up – our brand-new social group for teenagers and young adults aged 12+!

We’re looking at launching a fortnightly Saturday afternoon program where participants can make new friends, build confidence and develop real-life skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Think…
🍳 Cooking and baking
🍕 Ordering meals at cafés and restaurants
🚌 Catching public transport
🛒 Grocery shopping and budgeting
💳 Money handling
🎳 Community outings
🤝 Building friendships and social confidence
🏡 Everyday life skills
✨ And so much more!

Our vision for Wings Up is to create a place where young people can spread their wings, become more independent and enjoy meaningful experiences alongside peers in a safe and inclusive environment.

📅 Proposed start date: Saturday 15th August
🕒 Every fortnight | 3:00pm–5:00pm
📍 Across Redlands, Beenleigh, Logan & Brisbane
👥 Ages 12+

At this stage, we’re seeking expressions of interest to see if we have enough participants to make Wings Up a reality.

If you think your young person would love to be involved, we’d love to hear from you! Simply send us a message or email expressing your interest.

There’s no commitment at this stage—we’re just seeing if we have enough interest to get this exciting new program off the ground.

POV: You’re running a business with your favourite little coworker by your side. 🤍

Being a director looks a little different these days.

Some meetings happen with a bub on my hip.
Some emails get answered during nap time.
Some phone calls include toy interruptions and snack breaks.

It’s not always perfectly balanced, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
