🎃👻 YOU’RE INVITED TO THE NO BOUNDARIES HALLOWEEN PARTY! 🦇💜

Get ready for a spooktacular day of costumes, dancing, games and plenty of Halloween fun! 🧟‍♂️🕸️

📅 Friday 30th October 2026
⏰ 9am – 3pm
💲 $10 per person (to cover catering)

🎶 DJ, catering, costume contest and games — so get your scariest costume and dancing shoes ready! 🧛‍♀️🧙‍♂️

🎟️ Tickets can be purchased with cash or bank transfer.

Everyone is welcome! If this isn't your usual attendance day, please let your caseworker know and bring along a support worker/carer to the event. Regular day services will continue as normal.

🥔🌱 GARDEN TO PLATE! 🍽️💚

From growing our own potatoes to enjoying a delicious homemade potato bake! 🤩

Our NB Projects and NB Life crews teamed up for a special Garden to Plate collaboration. After learning how to grow and care for their potatoes, the NB Projects crew were ready to harvest! 🧑‍🌾🥔

The freshly picked potatoes were then passed on to our NB Life crew, who chose a recipe and got busy in the kitchen creating a tasty potato bake to share with everyone. 😋

A special shoutout to James and Cameron, who helped chop the onions, and Sammie, our fantastic potato picker! 👏🧅🥔

We love seeing our crews work together, learn new skills and turn their hard work in the garden into something delicious! 💛💙

📚💭 This week’s book review is in!

We read 'Maybe' by Kobi Yamada and gave it ⭐️ 5/5

From believing in ourselves to staying true to who we are, this inspiring book gave us plenty to think about and discuss. 💛✨

Our group shared that believing in yourself means continuing to push forward, following what you believe in and having the support of family and friends along the way. ❤️

When asked who they would recommend this book to, the group agreed that it’s a story for **all ages**, with a message that just about anyone can relate to! 🌟📖

A beautiful reminder that we all have potential and possibilities waiting to be discovered. 🌱

James absolutely loves jumping around and making the most of this awesome space! 💙 Watching him have fun, get active and enjoy himself is what it’s all about. 🙌

🎂👩‍🍳 MASTER CHEF CAKE DECORATING COMPETITION! 👨‍🍳🎂

Yesterday, we turned up the heat with our very own MasterChef Cake Decorating Competition! 🔥🍰 Two teams went head-to-head to see who could create the best decorated cake!

There was plenty of creativity, teamwork, laughs and a little bit of friendly competition along the way! 😄🙌 Everyone got involved and enjoyed the thrill of the challenge.

A Big Thank You to Bunnings Rothwell

A huge shout-out to Bunnings Rothwell and their Activities Organizer, Alana, for recently hosting a fantastic workshop for our NB Projects Crew!

Alana guided the group through the process of making their very own birdhouses and bird feeders, giving everyone the opportunity to get creative, learn new skills and work together. 🔨🎨

Even better, the finished birdhouses and feeders will be placed around our No Boundaries garden, creating a welcoming space for our local birdlife to enjoy! 🌱🐦

We’re so grateful to Alana and the team at Bunnings Rothwell for supporting our participants and helping us create meaningful, hands-on experiences. 🙌

We read Angry by Jane Bingham and gave it ⭐️ 4/5!

From understanding why we can become angry to learning ways to manage big emotions, the book gave us plenty to talk about. ❤️

We even finished with a group breathing exercise to practise slowing down, resetting and taking a moment for ourselves. 🌿🧘‍♀️

One of our favourite moments was hearing Philla share that they could see themselves in the book — showing just how relatable the story can be! 📖✨

A great book for school students learning about their emotions and growing up. 🌱
