Celebrating Chiara’s 2 years at Eloquence and her official graduation ceremony this week 🎓🤍

Turning story time into a self-regulation win 🐷📖✨

In this activity, we paired The Three Little Pigs with hands-on materials to target listening, impulse control, and waiting for permission. Using straw (pipe cleaners), sticks (paddle pop sticks), and bricks (sponges), this client had to listen carefully to the story and wait until the cue before touching or acting out each scene 🧠✋

This kind of structured “wait, watch, then go” approach builds real-life skills like following instructions, turn-taking, and reducing impulsivity. And once it was their turn… the engagement was next level! 🐺💨

🎨 I love all things creative – in my free time, I enjoy painting, colouring, baking sweet treats, and getting hands-on with arts and crafts like modelling clay

February at Eloquence 💛

Lots of “just playing” happening over here…(NOT!)
which actually means turn-taking, conversation building, emotional regulation, sound practice, and confidence growing every single session 🎲🧸🗣️

This month we focused on manners. Waiting, listening, asking for help, and those powerful little words please, thank you, excuse me 🙌
Because social communication isn’t taught in one big lesson… it’s built in tiny moments repeated again and again.

Our team has been busy assessing, supporting, role-playing, problem-solving and celebrating wins (big and small) with your kids 🫶

Thank you for partnering with us and reinforcing these skills at home. The progress you’re seeing is the result of consistency 🤍
