Play Therapy Supervision Training: Deepening the Self of the Therapist ✨
Supervision is more than guidance…
It’s a relationship. A space for reflection. A place where therapists grow into themselves.
We’re so excited to invite you into our upcoming Supervision Training — designed to support you in developing depth, clarity, and authenticity in your supervisory practice.
Across this training, we will delve into:
🌱 Cultural humility & social justice
🌱 Ethical best practices
🌱 Neuroscience-informed supervision
🌱 Transference & countertransference dynamics
🌱 Models of clinical supervision
🌱 Building a strong, attuned supervisory relationship
🌱 Group supervision dynamics
🌱 Playful supervision strategies
🌱 Immersive experiential learning
🌱 Sustainable self-care practices
🌏 Special Feature – Final Two Days
We are honoured that the final two days will be presented by Rosie Newman from Seattle Play Therapy:
🌿 Person-Centered Supervision: Applying CCPT Principles to Supervisees
Grounded in the work of Virginia Axline, this component will explore how the 8 basic principles of Child-Centered Play Therapy can be thoughtfully applied to the supervision relationship.
✨ In these final days, you will:
• Apply CCPT principles to supervision practice
• Facilitate deep reflective processes that support the “self of the therapist”
• Strengthen case conceptualisation through a person-centered lens
• Support supervisee growth with attunement, safety, and clarity
