Meet
our newest physiotherapist, Ty Guo
Ty is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and the management of persistent pain.
He takes a patient-centred, evidence-based approach to treatment, combining
hands-on therapy, dry needling and targeted exercise rehabilitation. His goal is to help patients manage their symptoms, improve their movement and return to the activities they enjoy.
Ty has a particular interest in treating
chronic headaches and migraines, TMJ and jaw-related conditions, and neck, shoulder and lower-back pain. He enjoys helping patients understand the factors contributing to their symptoms and developing practical, achievable treatment plans tailored
to their individual needs and goals.
Ty believes effective physiotherapy is not only about treating symptoms. It is also about helping patients understand their condition and giving them the knowledge, confidence and tools to manage their health over the long term.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, Ty spent six years working in remedial massage therapy. This experience has contributed to his excellent hands-on treatment skills and strong understanding of the body.
Outside the clinic, Ty enjoys fishing, playing basketball and hiking. As someone who values an active lifestyle, he understands the important role movement and physical activity play in maintaining health and quality of life.
Ty will be joining Physio One Taringa from
22 September 2026. Weβre thrilled to welcome him to the team!
