We provide affordable and professional psychological services for the general public, including family therapy, counselling, and assessment. Children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families are welcome, as well as staff and students of QUT.

MASS – Government spectacle supply scheme at QUT 🎉

The Spectacle Supply Scheme (SSS), administered by Queensland Health through MASS – the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme, provides eligible Queensland residents with a free pair of basic prescription spectacles, once every two years from a specified range.

To be eligible individuals must:
• book a QUT free adult appointment– no outside scripts
• be a permanent resident in Queensland
• hold a concession card continuously for a minimum of six months before applying
✔ Commonwealth Pensioner Concession Card
✔ Commonwealth Health Care Card
✔ Queensland Government Seniors Card

✨ Extra’s such as tinting, photochromatic lenses, UV protection and hard coatings are not included and can be purchased for an additional cost.

The Optometry Student Experience Offer provides students aged 16 years and over with the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a patient in Queensland's only university optometry clinic.

Meet our supervisors, tour the facility, see specialist equipment, and speak with current QUT optometry students about their study experiences and career pathways.
