is creating a resource that is going to help so many. If youโ€™ve dealt with a tongue ties can you please answer the questions & DM them.

This Friday Iโ€™m spending the entire day in an online business intensive with my incredible business mentor,

From 9:30am until 5pm, my focus will be on continuing to build something I have dreamed about creating for a long time โ€” The Tongue-Tie Roadmap.

This course is being designed for parents of babies and toddlers with tongue ties, lip ties and buccal ties. But unlike many courses, its purpose isnโ€™t to convince families to release or not release.

Its purpose is to provide balanced, evidence-informed information so families can make the decision that is right for their child.

For some families, a release feels like an easy decision.
For others, itโ€™s a decision that comes after weeks or months of questions, research and uncertainty.
And for some families, the answer is a firm โ€œnoโ€ โ€” but they still want to understand what to watch for, how to support their childโ€™s development, and what options are available.

I want this course to answer the questions parents wish someone had answered for them.

So Iโ€™d love your help.

๐Ÿ’› If your baby or toddler had a tongue tie, lip tie or buccal tie...

โ€ข Did you choose release or not?
โ€ข What information do you wish youโ€™d had sooner?
โ€ข What questions were hardest to get answered?
โ€ข What do you know now that you wish youโ€™d known at the beginning?

Your experiences may help shape this course and support other families navigating the same journey.

Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts in the comments or drop me a DM.

As the weather cools down here in Brisbane, Iโ€™m looking forward to something even more exciting, welcoming new babies and supporting growing families in the months ahead.

If youโ€™re expecting a baby in ๐—”๐˜‚๐—ด๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜, ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ข๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ, now is the perfect time to start thinking beyond the birth and planning for those precious early weeks at home.

Ask yourself:

โœจ What do I want my postpartum experience to look like?
โœจ Who will be part of my support village?
โœจ What practical and emotional support will I need?
โœจ How can I make the transition to life with a newborn feel calmer and more manageable?

So much time is spent preparing for birth, but the postpartum period deserves just as much planning and care.

Whether youโ€™re welcoming your first baby or your fourth, postpartum doula support can help you feel confident, nurtured and supported as you adjust to life with your newest family member. From newborn care and feeding support to practical help around the home and a listening ear, my goal is to help your family not just survive those early weeks, but truly thrive.

๐Ÿ“… I currently have availability for the remainder of 2026, including the busy September and October months.

If youโ€™re pregnant and wondering how postpartum doula support could benefit your family, Iโ€™d love to chat. Send me a message today and letโ€™s create a postpartum plan that works for you and your family.

๐Ÿ‘‡ If youโ€™re expecting a baby later this year, tell me your due month in the comments!

Iโ€™m loving all the Toy Story posts and stories leading up to Toy Story 5 release on the 19th June. Iโ€™m just a tiny bit excited for this movie.

Today this reel came across my feed, and straight away I thought what an amazing visual to use for labour contractions, a reminder to breathe in and out. Itโ€™s another layer of breath work that can be added to your labour tool bag.

If youโ€™re not pregnant this is a great tool for us as parents or our kids when either of us are having big feelings.

So as we wait for Toy Story 5, enjoy this breathing tool so you can go to Infinity and Beyond just like Buzz Lightyear

You know you are a birth worker when itโ€™s National Donut Day and the first thing you think of is the size of a donut in relation to cervical dilation.

So for National Donut Day here is a different type of education

๐Ÿฉ Timbits (the inner part of a donut) is 2cm in size and this means you are in early labour.
๐Ÿฉ A glazed donut from Krispy Kreme is 8cm from side to side and is representative of transition. Anyone who has laboured will tell you this is intense. A crisis of confidence can happen here. But it also means baby is close.

So on this National Donut Day enjoy my random childbirth education as you eat your donuts. May they be the tasty treat you need!

If you are pregnant and looking for an independent childbirth education that gives you the knowledge to make the choices for the birth YOU want send me a DM and letโ€™s get you ready for labour, birth and postpartum.

Last week at Baby and Me we celebrated National Simultaneous Story Time by reading Luna Roo. What an incredible book it was and captured the attention of both mums and our little ones.

As is usually the case, the meaning of the story sits with both the parents and kids. The story is a great reminder to not listen to the doubters no matter how loud they are and what they are saying. To remember to believe and back yourself and those around you. Whilst the book was written with kids in minds it really resonated with me as a parent.

No matter what stage you are in of your parenting journey there can be that noise either in our head or around us saying thatโ€™s not right. It was so nice to have that reminder to believe in your incredible self. And I think all of us need that no matter what stage of life we are in.

If you havenโ€™t read the book, I would suggest grabbing a copy. Itโ€™s going on my book giving list.

If you are looking for a mums group come and join us. Registrations are always open and these are some of the activities we do. After tomorrow there are two weeks to go before the term ends, so come along and start finding a place to connect with other mums and be supported in the process. There are highs and lows, and sometimes they can happen within the same hour. No two days are ever the same, and while parenting can be challenging, it is also the role I have always known I wanted.

Back in 2010, I was sitting in a job interview and was asked, โ€ My immediate answer was, โ€œ๐˜ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ต ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ข ๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต.โ€ But it didnโ€™t feel like the โ€œrightโ€ answer to give in a job interview, so I said something else instead.

Sixteen years later, Iโ€™ve learned more than I ever imagined about parenting, and every day Iโ€™m still learning. My children continue to be some of my greatest teachers.

โœจ ๐— ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ฆhas taught me to wear the good dress, no matter the occasion.

โœจ ๐— ๐—ฟ ๐—› has taught me to keep asking questions and always look for ways things can be done differently or better.

โœจ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐— has taught me you donโ€™t have to always be the same as everyone. Itโ€™s okay to stand out.

Today, on the ๐—š๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€, I want to acknowledge every parent who shows up day after day, doing what needs to be done. The parents who love fiercely, advocate tirelessly, and give so much of themselves to raise the next generation of adults, leaders, thinkers, and dreamers.

Today, take a moment to recognise the incredible job youโ€™re doing. The work may often go unseen, but it matters more than you know.
