Excursion day for our ND Connect group was a hit! We attended the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition in King George Square today, where ALOTS is a Bronze Sponsor. So excited to support such an amazing cause, and so many amazing artists with a lived experience of mental health challenges. Enjoy the sneak peek of the painting I bought for the clinic 🩷 and super proud of my hubby for his two pieces (one of which has sold already!) I hope next year we’ll be visiting some of my talented client’s artworks in the installation.

Self care is SO much more than bubble baths and positive affirmations…I enjoyed talking all things self care for mental health OT’s today at UQ with the final yr OT students. My hope is that they take it seriously when entering our profession, to avoid burnout, and be able to show up as their best self for their clients.
