If your child is learning how to tie their shoelaces and you missed Susie’s handy trick, we have created the perfect guide to make teaching your kid easy.

1-2: Grab both laces, cross them over and under to form a knot and pull tight.

3-4: Here is the hack. Stick the ends of both laces into the heel lock (second hole).

5-7: Create two bunny ears, while the laces are still in the heel lock. Cross them over and under to form a knot and pull tight.

8-10: Repeat steps 5 through 7.

11: Pull the laces free from the heel lock.
