If you have rosacea-prone skin, your cleanser may be contributing to the problem.
Many foaming cleansers contain surfactants that can disrupt the skin barrier, increase irritation and trigger flushing in sensitive skin types.
For patients with rosacea, we often recommend:
• gentle, non-foaming cleansers
• fragrance-free formulations
• barrier-supportive ingredients
• avoiding over-cleansing or exfoliating acids during flare-ups

Rosacea management should always be tailored to the individual, as triggers and skin sensitivities vary significantly from person to person.

Such a privilege to have a part in the ASCPD seminar in Melbourne on the weekend. I presented original research conducted at on the NCTF trial we ran in clinic, as well as how to reduce downtime post non-ablative fractional lasers. Rana also tried the new painless skin tightening treatment and absolutely loved it. There’s always so much to learn so we can give our patients the absolute best treatments and experiences possible. As an Australian Dermatologist, I need to treat all different skin types.

Different devices, different settings, different approaches are required for the spectrum of skin colours I come across in my practice.

I can't think of a better place to stay at the cutting edge of skin management for Asian skin types then Ho Chi Minh City
