This week’s instructor tip comes from Susan Hilbert, an EMMETT Instructor and Practitioner with seven years of experience across both human and animal modalities.
As an independent, accredited saddle fitter and certified practitioner for both horses and humans, Susan offers a unique blend of expertise to every session. While she possesses a vast toolkit, she primarily uses the EMMETT Technique because of its speed and clinical effectiveness. Susan now shares this knowledge far and wide, instructing others in how to achieve maximum results with minimal input.
🟡 Her tip for practitioners and students? Never underestimate the simplicity of the foundation. What you learn in Level 1 is incredibly powerful - it is the fundamental core of the Technique and often all that is needed to trigger a significant neuromuscular reset.
🔵 The result? Susan has seen this firsthand in her courses, such as a client regaining hand mobility years after a motorcycle accident with a single forearm release, or horses overcoming deep trauma to partner with their new owners.
This tip is for anyone starting their EMMETT journey or looking to refine their clinical results by returning to the core principles.
