BLUE HOPE

BLUE HOPE Blue Hope provides much needed support for the mental health of current and former police officers. Raise awareness about Police su***de.
2.

Moved by the loss of too many colleagues to su***de, the charity Directors have decided to do something about it. Blue HOPE (Helping Out Police Everywhere) was created to achieve four key aims:
1. Research how other jurisdictions globally combat the issue.
3. Create an anonymous hotline for former and current officers.
4. Conduct outreach and become a constant voice that reminds officers that help

is only a phone call away. YOU DO NOT NEED TO CONFRONT YOUR PROBLEMS ALONE. FEEL FREE TO PERSONALLY MESSAGE BLUE HOPE WITH ANY QUERIES OR CONCERNS...

WHO COULD FORGET - 1991 - Sydney Football Stadium - 'The King' takes on young Penrith hit man Mark Geyer!

Well this rivalry continues!

Together with Emerge & See NSW & ACT, and The Code 9 Foundation, Blue HOPE is taking part in 'Pie of Origin'.

https://fundraise.emergeandsee.org.au/event/pie4ptsd/pie-of-origin

Following this year's State of Origin series, one of these legends gets 'pied' in the face by the other. Surely many of our fans and supporters can drum up a couple of bucks to ensure our very own King Wally Lewis ends up launching the pie and not receiving it!!!

Follow the links to make your contribution and on the way you could score a VIP trip to origin 3 in Brisbane.

Our very own Paul Casey attended earlier in the week and assured The King that we had this covered!

All proceeds raised will be distributed evenly between involved charities.

The South Eastern Region Wellbeing office hosted a Sworn officer & Police Liaison Officer Reflection and Growth Day at the Volunteer Marine Rescue Centre on the Gold Coast today. 75 PLO's and police officers, primarily those involved in Crime Prevention and Cultural Liaison roles partook in a positive and productive day involving a range of wellbeing activities. BLUEHOPE was invited to provide lunch, and a small part of our team in Brad and Heidi whipped up some burgers for the troops. They had a little help from Mitch and Macca in the burger prep, but a special shout out to the Volunteers in Policing (VIP's) whose experience in catering events is second to none. No one from BLUEHOPE was getting near the service table, and the VIP's took the burgers to the next level bringing along beetroot , avo, onion and pickles to really "fancy things up." After the VIP's had cleaned everything up after lunch it was unanimously decided they're welcome on any future road trips 😊 Brad also had the opportunity to have a quick chat to the attendees on managing mental health, accessing support options, all with our usual message of " please speak up" 😊
