F.A.S.T signs of a Stroke
F – Face: Has one side of the face drooped?
A – Arms: Can they lift both arms, or does one arm drift down?
S – Speech: Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
T – Time: If you notice any of these signs, call 000 immediately. Time is brain.
Other stroke symptoms may include:
• Sudden loss of vision
• Dizziness or loss of balance
• Numbness or weakness on one side of the body
• Severe, sudden headache
• Difficulty understanding speech or swallowing
