”Stop stressing about what the girl on Instagram is pumping because even if you followed her exact same routine you probably won’t get the same volume.

There are absolutley things we can do to optimise how much you get when you pump with choosing the right pump, fl**ge fitting, alignment and getting the right routine. But the thing we can’t change is your milk storage capacity, this is what has the biggest influence over what you can pump at one time and how often you’ll need to breastfeed or express to maintain your supply.

So instead of following someone else’s routine expecting the same results and feeling disappointed when you don’t. Tune into your body, work with it and if you need support reach out for lactation support so you can get the right advice for you!

Ps a lower milk storage capacity doesn’t mean you have low supply ❤️

Social media can be a tricky place for a pumping Mama.

You’ll see full pumps, empty pumps, pumps with a little, and pumps with a lot.

And you’ll probably (at some stage) end up measuring your own output against another Mamas.

But here’s the thing: she’s not you.

Your baby is not her baby! How much you can pump, and the consistency of your milk can depend heavily on your baby’s age, stage and unique needs.

Your supply is not her supply. Your breasts may have different amounts of glandular tissue.

Your journey is not her journey. There truly is no comparison.

The only thing you have in common? That whatever you manage to pump = worthy of celebrating! Be it 30 mL or 150 mL, every drop is worth its weight in gold 🖤

Remember, if you’re struggling or concerned at all, we are here for you! We are proud to offer all LACEVO customers a FREE virtual consult with our incredible in-house IBCLC (Lactation Consultant) Kate. Email [email protected] to book 🖤

We’ve been using red light therapy on our faces and bodies for years. So why did breast care get left out of the conversation? ❤️

Red and near infrared light therapy has become incredibly popular in beauty and skin wellness routines. It’s often used to help support things like circulation and scar healing/repair processes.

EMPOWER takes that same technology and brings it somewhere that deserves a little more attention: your breasts. Because they really are doing the most right now!

With 660nm red + 850nm near infrared light, EMPOWER is designed to help support circulation and assist in reducing inflammation. It may help reduce breast discomfort from conditions like mastitis, blocked ducts and ni**le trauma. It’s safe to use while breastfeeding, and can support with postpartum recovery, hormonal breast discomfort, and even everyday breast care.

Flexible, wearable therapy pads contour around the breasts, so you can use EMPOWER while sitting back, lying down or getting on with your day.

Because if red light has earned a place in our skincare and wellness routines, surely breast care deserves one too? ❤️

Attention Australian Women! 📢

Women’s health is UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT right now, and your perspective matters!

The Australian Senate’s Select Committee on Women’s Health is examining experiences across several areas of women’s healthcare, including women’s pain and pain management, fertility and assisted reproduction, medical devices used in women’s healthcare, and postpartum care.

As a brand built around supporting women through breastfeeding, pumping and postpartum life, the postpartum aspect of this inquiry is incredibly close to our hearts.

But this conversation is even bigger than that.

It’s about women’s experiences of healthcare generally.

What support looked like. Where there were gaps. What worked. What didn’t.

And what women themselves have experienced navigating these areas of care!

The committee is currently accepting submissions, with women, families, organisations and advocates invited to share their experiences and insights. Every shared experience is important.

Submissions close 9 October 2026.

We’ve included the link in our bio, or you can comment HEALTH below and we will link it in your DMs.

Breastfeeding is one of those things you can read about, prepare for and hear about a hundred times from other mamas… but still feel completely unprepared for!

It can simultaneously be the most beautiful and exhausting thing you’ll ever do.

What’s something about breastfeeding you wish someone had told you before you started?
