✨ Something powerful happens when you’re fasting…

During Ramadan, your body goes through incredible changes — but only if you do it properly.

That means:
✅ Eating a balanced, nourishing diet
✅ Sleeping well
✅ Staying active

Here’s what happens from Day 1 → Day 30:

1️⃣ Day 1–3: Your body adjusts — blood sugar stabilises, digestion slows.
2️⃣ Day 4–7: Energy begins to improve as your body learns to use stored fat efficiently.
3️⃣ Day 8–10: Inflammation starts to reduce, and your immune system gets a boost.
4️⃣ Day 11–15: Improved focus & mental clarity — your brain thrives on steady energy.
5️⃣ Day 16–20: Digestive system resets, liver & gut health improve.
6️⃣ Day 21–25: Hormonal balance begins to stabilise — metabolism gets a gentle reset.
7️⃣ Day 26–30: Your body reaches its peak of physical benefits: energy, detox, and cellular repair.

⚡ Without good food, sleep, and activity, these benefits won’t fully happen.

⏰ Fasting & tired by 10am – NOT NORMAL!

These 5 foods are making it worse:

1️⃣ Sugary suhoors
2️⃣ Just tea or coffee
3️⃣ Low-protein days
4️⃣ Ultra-processed foods
5️⃣ Salty & fried foods

⚡ Energy comes from balance, not restriction.

Ramadan + GLP-1 medications is a conversation we need to have.

If you are using medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro, fasting is not as simple as “eat less = more weight loss.”

This is where many people get caught off guard.

GLP-1s reduce appetite.
Fasting reduces eating windows.

Together, this can increase risk of:
• muscle loss
• dehydration
• fatigue & weakness
• nutrient gaps
• unstable blood sugars

This is not bonus weight loss.

This is a time to protect your health.

If you are continuing your medication:
✔ speak to your healthcare team
✔ prioritise protein & hydration
✔ don’t skip suhoor
✔ monitor dizziness & energy

If you plan to pause:
⚠ appetite and food noise can return quickly
⚠ old habits may resurface without structure
⚠ weight regain is common without lifestyle support

Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection — not health setbacks.

Your goal is stability, nourishment, and preserving your strength.
If you want guidance on fasting safely while protecting your progress…

💬 Comment FREE and I’ll send you my Ramadan meal plan to help you consume functional foods to support your natural GLP-1 function

Suhoor doesn’t have to leave you hungry by 10am.

Overnight oats might feel a little cliché… but there’s a reason they show up every Ramadan 👀

They’re one of the most practical Suhoor options when you want to stay full without feeling heavy.

✔️ Prep ahead → one less decision at 4am

✔️ Fresh, light & easy to eat when you’re not hungry

✔️ High fibre → steady energy through the fast

✔️ Gentle on digestion (no bloating, no sluggishness)

✔️ Helps keep cravings in check later

My base recipe kicks the fibre out the park with the replacement of half the oats with chia & flaxseeds. Making this perfect for diabetics too!

Exactly what Suhoor should be.
