Angela is heading to Japan 🇯🇵

Next Thursday, Angela leaves for the House of Moxa Japan Moxa Tour, a pilgrimage through the places that have shaped the medicine she has practised for 15 years.

From Tokyo to Nagahama, Kyoto and Hiroshima, she’ll be training with leading moxibustion practitioners, climbing Mt Ibuki where some of Japan’s oldest moxa is grown, and visiting the makers who have been crafting moxa for centuries.

Moxibustion is a gentle warming therapy that has been part of Japanese and Chinese medicine for thousands of years, and many people find it a nurturing addition to their acupuncture care, including through fertility and pregnancy. Angela can’t wait to bring everything she learns home to the treatment room.

If you’d like to see Angela before she goes, there are still a few spots available up until Wednesday. She’ll be back in clinic from Monday 16 November.

While she’s away, our caring team of practitioners is here to support you and keep your care flowing. You’re in very safe hands. 🤍

Book via the link in bio or call the clinic.

Mothering the mother 🤍

Those early weeks after birth can feel like a beautiful blur. Your whole world has shifted, and every part of you is focused on this tiny new person in your arms.

But your body has been through something profound too.

Many new mums quietly carry the aftermath of birth. A tender tailbone that makes sitting uncomfortable. Abdominal muscles that feel weak or disconnected. Emotions from a birth that didn’t go the way they’d hoped. And so often, the care gets put off because leaving baby just doesn’t feel possible yet.

So we make it possible. 🌿

In our postpartum sessions, your baby is welcome right here with you. We move at your pace, pause for feeds and cuddles, and create a gentle space where you can finally exhale.

Postpartum massage and acupuncture may help support your body’s recovery, ease tension and soreness, and give your nervous system a chance to soften. Many mums tell us it’s the first time since birth they’ve felt truly cared for themselves.

Because when you’re nurtured, you have more to give. You don’t have to choose between your baby and your own healing. You deserve both.

If you’re in your fourth trimester and feeling a little lost in your own body, we’re here whenever you’re ready. 💛

🤍 If today feels heavy, this is for you.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a moment to remember the little ones who are no longer here, and to acknowledge the people who carry that loss with them.

If you’ve experienced pregnancy or infant loss, you may know how difficult it can be to put that experience into words. You might feel sadness, anger, numbness, or find that certain days bring everything back to the surface.

Perhaps the world has continued moving, while a part of you is still processing what happened.

Whatever your experience looks like, there is no right timeline for grief. You don’t have to feel a certain way today, explain your feelings to others, or pretend you’re okay when you’re not.

Your baby mattered. Your experience matters. And you deserve compassion as you navigate it.

If you’re remembering a little one today, please know that you’re being thought of 💌

With love,
Angela & the WTW team x

Have you ever been holding everything together for everyone else, while quietly feeling exhausted yourself?

Sometimes, stress shows up in ways we don’t immediately connect to our emotional wellbeing. Tight shoulders, a racing mind, restless sleep or feeling disconnected from yourself can all be signs that it’s time to slow down and check in.

When you’re used to pushing through, it’s easy to put your own needs at the bottom of the list.

But you don’t have to wait until you’re burnt out to make time for yourself 🤍

At Womb to World, we offer different approaches to supporting your wellbeing, including acupuncture, cupping and energy healing with Toni.

✨ Curious about the connection between emotional stress and your body?

There’s something so beautiful about women finding each other in pregnancy. 🤍

Two beautiful mamas-to-be, sitting in our waiting room, sharing their pregnancy stories, the latest podcasts they’ve been listening to, the books they’ve been reading, and all the little things that make this journey so special. ✨

And Alessandra right there with them, celebrating them both after their gorgeous 90-minute luxurious pregnancy massages. A little moment of connection, a lot of shared wisdom, and that feeling of being understood by someone who just gets it. 🤍

At Womb to World, we believe pregnancy care is about so much more than an appointment. It’s about creating a space where women feel safe, supported, nurtured and connected. Where you can slow down, take a breath, share your story and know you’re not walking this journey alone.

Because sometimes, the most beautiful part of the village is the women you meet along the way. 🌿

We feel so lucky to be a little part of your journey into motherhood.

This is the heart of Womb to World. 🤍

✨ Fertility tip: keep your womb warm.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), warmth is associated with healthy circulation and reproductive wellbeing.

Supporting warmth through your everyday habits is one simple way to care for your body while trying to conceive 🤍

If you’re navigating your fertility journey, here are a few small things you can start incorporating into your routine:

✨ Choose warm, cooked meals over cold or raw foods where possible
✨ Keep your lower abdomen and feet warm, especially during the cooler months
✨ Avoid sitting on cold surfaces for extended periods
✨ Swap iced drinks for warm water or herbal teas

These little rituals can be a beautiful way to slow down, tune into your body and bring more intention to your daily routine.

And remember, fertility isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about understanding your body, supporting your overall wellbeing and finding what works for you.

At Womb to World, we offer personalised fertility support through acupuncture, naturopathy and Chinese herbal medicine, with care tailored to your individual needs and cycle.

Your fertility journey is your own. You don’t have to navigate it alone 🤍

Spring has arrived 🌿 And in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this season is all about movement, growth and renewal.

Spring is associated with the Wood element, the Liver + Gallbladder, rising Yang, the emotion of anger, the climate of Wind and the flavour sour.

It’s also a significant season for fertility. As nature begins to grow, bloom and reproduce, Spring is traditionally seen as a time of increased movement and reproductive energy.

Rather than seeing this as a reason to suddenly overhaul your routine, TCM encourages us to work with the season.

Think:
🌿 More time outdoors
☀️ Following the increasing daylight
🚶‍♀️ Gentle, regular movement
🥬 Fresh, seasonal foods
🍋 A little sour flavour through lemon, lime or fermented foods
😴 Continuing to prioritise rest
🌱 Making space for what you want to grow

Spring can also be a good time to notice where you feel stuck.

Is there a decision you’ve been avoiding? A boundary that needs attention? A habit that no longer fits? Somewhere your body is asking for more movement?

For those preparing for pregnancy, it can be a beautiful time to focus on the foundations of reproductive wellbeing too: nourishment, circulation, stress support, sleep, cycle awareness and overall health.

And if you feel like your body needs a little more support this season, you don’t need to know exactly what you need before you come in. Our practitioners can meet you where you’re at and help you work out where to start.
