I am no stranger to fatigue and feeling tired 😩
I know the fatigue from being clinically depressed - I remember calling in sick to work and missing uni to sit in the bath for 5 hours straight because it felt like the only thing I could manage that day...
I know the fatigue that comes from weaning off of corticosteroid use (wild ride - especially in your teens)...
I know the fatigue that comes from gentle exercise or doing household chores when you’re chronically unwell (the fatigue from struggling with chronic health conditions)...
I know the fatigue you experience when detoxing from black mould (the worst fatigue I’ve experienced by far)...
& I cannot neglect mentioning that the unrelenting fatigue I struggled with after my body started feeling safe - I was living in a chronic state of oscillating between hypervigilance and dissociation), so when I left home as a teen and was living in a safer household, the fatigue hit like a freight train
It is important to mention that I always had a myriad of other symptoms at the time (little cues from my body): persistent high chronic stress, anxiety that followed me everywhere and mainly lived in my chest, I would get flu-like symptoms just before my period, and I would wake up in the middle of the night with heart palpitations

My fatigue was so debilitating and stole enough of my joy, that I began dedicating a lot of my time and the small amount of energy I had left to learning how to get my energy back
& after studying to become a naturopath and investing more time and money into equipping myself to heal my nervous system and rewire my stress response
I can say that today, fatigue is not a problem for me
There have been so many aspects of my journey that helped me (one of the biggest was educating myself – which is all of the wisdom I now impart to private 1:1 clients)

🌀 I can’t pinpoint just one thing that helped me heal and reclaim my energy, but here are a few noteworthy ones: Yoga nidra, cycle syncing, a whole food diet, subconscious reprogramming, somatic and body-led practices (bottom-up approaches), herbal medicine, and a good sleep routine
