What does women’s health mean to us? At All Women’s Health, we know it means something a little different to every woman.

To us, it’s carving out time for the things that make you feel most like you, whatever those things may be.

It’s understanding that no one has every part of life running perfectly at the same time, and giving yourself permission to be okay with that.

It’s embracing femininity in all its forms. The softness, the strength, the vulnerability, the resilience and everything in between.

It’s spending time with the people who fill your cup, finding reasons to laugh, moving your body in ways that feel good and creating space for the things that bring you joy.

It’s learning to listen to your body, because our bodies are incredibly good at telling us when something needs a little more care, support or attention.

It’s having access to education and information that helps us better understand our bodies through every stage of life. And as a team of women who genuinely love learning, it’s being able to take that knowledge and use it to support, educate and empower other women too.

Most importantly, we don’t believe women’s health is just one thing.

It’s physical. It’s emotional. It’s connection. It’s movement. It’s rest. It’s strength. It’s space. It’s joy. And sometimes, it’s simply giving yourself what you need in that moment.

That’s what women’s health means to us.

What does women’s health mean to you?

Life is definitely not linear and it’s not always sunshine and rainbows…

Some mornings we wake up ready to take on the world. Other mornings, finding a clean pair of pants feels like enough of an achievement.

There’s something so comforting about doing little things that make life easier for our future selves. We don’t need to have it all together, because life is inevitably a little messy, but it’s nice to have one less thing to think about. Organisation can be a form of self-care too!

What’s something your past self does that your future self always thanks you for? x

There’s something really lovely about continuing to move through pregnancy, but we also know that as your body changes, you might start wondering, should I be doing anything differently?

That’s exactly why we recommend a Pre-Class Assessment before joining our classes.

It gives us the opportunity to get to know YOUR body before you step into a class environment, your connective tissues, your biomechanics, your core strength and pelvic floor, your stomach separation, exercise history, how your pregnancy is progressing and what you’d like to get out of moving.

From there, our physios can make sure your classes are tailored to where your body is at right now, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to pregnancy exercise.

Because being pregnant doesn’t mean you need to be afraid of movement. It means your body is doing something incredible, and sometimes it simply needs a little more understanding and support along the way.

Our goal is for you to walk into class feeling confident that your physio already knows you, knows your body and can help you continue moving in a way that feels good for you.

And at 25 weeks, this lovely mumma is psyched to move with us.

If you’re planning to claim your classes through your private health fund, a Pre-Class Assessment is required. We also recommend one even if you aren’t claiming, so we can tailor your classes to your individual needs.

Returning to movement after giving birth can feel exciting, overwhelming…actually, a bit of both!!

Every birth and every recovery is different. Regardless of whether you had a vaginal birth or a caesarean, your body has been through INCREDIBLE change. This is your time to shine, build strength gradually, reconnect with your core and pelvic floor, and progress at a pace that feels right for you. For our ladies, we recommend focusing on restoring strength before returning to higher-impact or more demanding exercise.

Our Clinical Pilates classes are a gentle way to reconnect with your body and start feeling like you again, with no pressure to “bounce back”.

Remember, baby steps (for bub AND you!) 💕.

We see you! The ladies who are learning to lift and get Strong!

We also see you wearing no gloves and getting super dry, calloused hands …especially in this winter season!

And while they’re definitely a sign you’re putting in the work, they don’t have to be the price you pay for getting stronger. That’s why we swear by these!! A good pair of lifting gloves can help improve your grip, reduce friction on your hands, and make those heavier lifts feel A LOT more comfortable.

Thanks MoveActive, for keeping our hands looking cute and oh so happy!
