I’ve been making this jelly for years, it’s super easy and my kids always love it. 🍊🍋🫚🍯
The more gelatin you add, the more firm it will be. Sometimes I’ll pour it into cute moulds and make gummies, but when I’m short on time, just pour it all into a glass container, refrigerate and cut into pieces like this! 👌🏻

I’ve been pretty sick over the past week, so have just made a fresh batch with mandarins from our tree! 🧡

I guess all the measurements 😅 but you can follow the instructions on the gelatin bag. I juice the citrus, add honey, a little grated ginger and/or tumeric (or just use dried powder if you don’t have fresh).

This is my why. I’ve had some beautiful mums reach out to me recently to share how much their children love my book and how it’s helped them.

When days are hard, these messages remind me why I am doing this.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s shared my book with other families, requested it at your local library / school / childcare, or left a review. I appreciate it so much. 🩷

I was debating about sharing this. But sharing our experience helps to inform and empower others, which is so important, as many allergy families in the past have also shared and helped us. The neffy device is relatively new here in Australia, with many families curious as to how effective it is. Here is our experience.

Just over a week ago my daughter had an anaphylactic reaction and needed adrenaline. She’d been unwell with a stomach bug a few days prior, which I believe played a part in the reaction (as her immune system was low and therefore threshold low). She had an uncontrollable sneezing, an itchy throat, a few hives and breathing was becoming more difficult. We bought the neffy at the beginning of the year and added it to our medical kit, that we carry everywhere she goes (also includes all the regular medications like EpiPens, antihistamines, steroids, etc). So this time we decided to try the neffy and I’m pleased to report that it worked very well! Almost immediately gave relief and within seconds my daughter said she could breathe easier again. The downsides were that when it initially dispensed, it hurt her nose (maybe from the pressure of it) and she was left with a headache for a few hours afterwards. However, she said it was still easier than having an EpiPen. Overall, it was a good alternative for us and seemed to work just as well for her.

The days following anaphylaxis are always emotional and bring with it extra anxiety, but she’s doing much better now. 🩵

Being an allergy mum, I’m forever substituting and changing recipes to make them safe for our family and now I have somewhere to keep them together in this beautiful recipe book holder from 🥰 This easy quiche is DF, NF, GF and a winner in our house. It’s also so easy to add different ingredients (think ham, bacon, DF feta, pumpkin). Screenshot the recipe at the end!
Beautiful quiche dish also from kindly gifted and perfect for Mother’s Day! 🩷

Our gorgeous handmade finger puppets are ready! 🥳

Turn reading into a hands-on learning experience with Ivy’s Allergies finger puppets! Designed to support early childhood development by encouraging active participation during story time. They can retell the story in their own words, explore different voices and even create new scenarios. This kind of imaginative play strengthens language skills, builds narrative understanding and supports comprehension.
