Danni Vee Speaker, Author, Educator, Engaging Female leaders ready to Embody Confidence & release the overwhelm

I think confidence is becoming the excuse…..Yep, said it!

“I just need more confidence.”

I hear it all the time from women who are already wildly capable, Women leading teams and running businesses. They’re already doing incredible work.

Women with experience, wisdom and results behind them who are still waiting for some magical day where “confidence” taps them on the shoulder and says:

“You are ready now”

I hate to break it to you… I don’t think she is coming 😏

From what I have seen in business, leadership and life, confidence is built after we move.

After we speak. After we back ourselves and when we survive the thing we were scared of.

I strongly believe What matters far more is self-trust.

The kind of self-trust that allows you to stay anchored when people have opinions.

The kind that helps you navigate growth without shrinking yourself every time something feels uncomfortable.

The kind that allows you to be seen, to take up more space and to stop second-guessing whether you belong in the room.

You do not need to become louder or more performative, but I have to say you do need to stop waiting for someone else to tell you that you are ready.

It’s time to stop waiting for permission.

Today on The Danni Vee Show, I unpack The Visibility Trap Nobody Talks About

Tell me honestly…

Where are you still waiting to feel “ready”?

Authenticity has become a bit of a buzzword lately.

Everybody is talking about being authentic, showing up authentically and “just being yourself” and honestly… I think we have lost the meaning of it.

From where I sit, working with high-performing women every week, many are not struggling to be authentic, they are struggling to recognise themselves underneath the version of who they had to become.

The woman who always has it together.
The one who delivers and the one everyone relies on.

The one who learnt to hold it all, fix it all and keep moving no matter what was happening in the background.

That version of you may have helped build the business, the career, the success and even the life you have now, but there comes a point where what once worked starts to feel heavy.

You are still capable. Still showing up. Still achieving…..Yet something feels different.

This is often because you have simply outgrown a version of yourself.

I think what many women call burnout, feeling stuck or even a confidence issue can often be something deeper.

It’s an identity shift and if I am honest, I think more women are experiencing this than we realise.

This week on The Danni Vee Show, I unpack what authenticity REALLY means and why so many successful women can feel disconnected from themselves, even when life looks “successful” from the outside.

I would love to know…

Have you ever had a season where you realised the old version of you no longer fit?

There comes a point where success no longer feels like enough.

You’ve built the business. People trust you. From the outside, it looks like things are working.

Yet privately, you know something has shifted.

You’re no longer the woman who built this version of your life and the way you’ve always operated no longer fits the future you can feel pulling on you.

I see this with high-performing women every day.

Women who are exceptional at what they do, yet are often questioning why they feel disconnected from themselves, their voice, or the impact they know they are here to make.

This is because growth asks something different of us……

More self-trust. More truth. More leadership. More courage to stop performing and start fully embodying who we actually are.

That is why I created EMBODY™ Inner Circle.

A private room for women who are ready to expand their influence, strengthen their voice and lead from a deeper place of conviction, confidence and self-respect.

If you know you’ve outgrown an old version of yourself, comment **EMBODY** below or send me a message.

This week was one of those weeks.

On Monday and Wednesday, I had the privilege of facilitating organisational change with the Office Of Industrial Relations, supporting their people through the kind of conversations that matter when the organisation is evolving and people are being asked to lead through uncertainty.

Tuesday brought an opportunity to speak at the Women in Management Forum with CROWN LEADERSHIP INTERNATIONAL GROUP on one of the most misunderstood leadership capabilities; delegation alongside the incredibly inspiring Carolyn Shaw.
I am a big believer that great leadership is built on building capability, creating trust, and knowing when to step out of the way so others can rise into responsibility.

In between all of that, I spent time with the incredible women inside the Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce Female Founders Program and I could not be prouder of what I am witnessing unfold.
Watching women back themselves, expand their thinking, strengthen their leadership and step more fully into what they are capable of is work that never stops inspiring me.

The courage it takes to grow, lead and stretch beyond what feels familiar deserves to be recognised.

Thursday, I wrapped up the week speaking with Logan City Council on communicating with impact, because leadership is not only about what you know, it is about how effectively you bring people with you through your message, presence and influence.

Alongside all of this amazingness, I have had the privilege of continuing deep work with my incredible private corporate clients across Brisbane City Council, Anybody Car Carriers and Bayside City Council Victoria.

Weeks like this remind me that leadership development is never just about strategy.
It is identity first and foremost!
It is communication.
It is trust.
It is how we show up when people need certainty from us.
AND if there is one thing I know for sure, organisations do not transform without courageous leadership m sitting underneath them.

I am beyond grateful for every room, every conversation and every leader willing to do the work.

How was your week?

You’re holding back and the people around you can feel it.

Now, this usually shows up in small ways like:
You have something to say and pause for a second.
You change the wording slightly.
You add more around it than you need to.

It’s easy to miss when it’s your own pattern.

I see it a lot when I’m working with leaders. You can hear when someone isn’t quite saying what they mean. It’s in the way they speak, not the words themselves.

I’ve caught it in myself as well. There have been stages as I’ve built my business and personally where I knew exactly what I wanted to say and still held it back slightly before it came out.

That moment matters more than people realise and it changes how you’re experienced.

At a certain level, this becomes the work.

Trusting your own thinking and saying it as it is.

I go deeper into this in Episode 35 of The Danni Vee Show. Link’s in my bio.

I’ve had seasons in business where everything worked. Revenue flowed. Opportunities landed. It felt easy.

And I’ve had seasons where it all fell apart and I had to sit with the uncomfortable truth that something in me needed to shift before anything outside of me would.

That’s one of the many reasons why this conversation with felt important.

We didn’t talk about hacks. We didn’t talk about quick wins. We talked about identity. About what happens when your business collapses and your sense of self goes with it. About the discipline of leading yourself on the days you don’t feel powerful.

One thing we both deeply believe is that you don’t need self belief to begin. You need a decision…..my favourite, radical responsibility.

I’ve seen this play out in my own life and in the women I coach. The ones who grow are not the ones who feel ready. They are the ones who choose to move anyway.

If you’ve been waiting to feel more confident before taking the next step, this episode might be the nudge you need.

Go and listen to Episode 32 of The Danni Vee Show, then ask yourself where you are still hesitating. I’d love to hear what comes up for you.

Remember, who you become determines what you build.

There are conversations that mirror back what I see every day in my work.

This was one of them.

I sat down with for Episode 34 of The Danni Vee Show and we went straight into a pattern I see in high-performing women all the time.

Women who lead. Women who hold a lot. Women who are relied on and in the middle of all of that, they’ve stopped being in relationship with themselves.

They don’t know when the succeed because they’ve learned to keep going without checking in.

Hayley said something in this conversation that I know will hit for a lot of you…..

“What are you using being there for other people as a reason to avoid yourself?”

I see that play out in real time.
Women telling me they don’t have time, while carrying businesses, teams, families, expectations… and still pushing themselves further down the list without even realising it.

When that shifts, everything shifts.

The way you make decisions.
The way you lead.
The way you hold yourself……everything!
