What if the key to unlocking freer movement is as simple as adjusting your clothing? ⌚👔

Not all physical restriction comes from an injury. Everyday clothing and accessories can subtly influence your posture, trigger muscle tension, and restrict overall comfort without you even realising it.

Here are three simple tips to help restore ease of movement:
🔵 Spot the subtle influencers - pay attention to how daily accessories like watches, belts, or footwear alter the way you stand, walk, or sit.
🟡 Make small daily adjustments - loosening a belt notch, swapping rigid footwear, or adjusting where an item sits can immediately take pressure off sensitive tissues.
🔵 Combine adjustments with a gentle reset - pair simple wardrobe tweaks with quick EMMETT Technique releases to instantly ease discomfort and restore fluid movement.

Small choices in what you wear can make a remarkable difference to how your body feels.

Did you know that tight jaw muscles can secretly trigger persistent stiffness in your neck and shoulders? 😬

Clenching, grinding, or holding tension in your jaw doesn't just affect your teeth. Because the muscles of mastication connect into the postural chains of the head and neck, a tight jaw forces surrounding muscles to overwork just to keep you balanced.

The EMMETT Technique offers a gentle, targeted approach to unlocking jaw restriction:
🔵 No aggressive pressure - precise, light-touch moves relax tight facial and jaw muscles without discomfort.
🟡 Chain reaction relief - easing jaw tension allows the neck and upper back to soften naturally.
🔵 Rapid response - experience immediate freedom when opening your mouth, chewing, or turning your head.

A simple, gentle way to restore ease from the head down.

👆 A light touch can start a response.

Think of a fingertip touching a screen — a small, precise contact that begins an interaction.

It’s a simple way to picture EMMETT Technique’s gentle approach: light finger pressure at specific points, with attention to the individual’s response.

💬 EMMETT practitioners — how do you explain light touch to your clients?

08/10/2026

💡 A SMALL DETAIL. A BIG LIGHTBULB MOMENT.

An instructor explains something differently.
A practice partner asks a question you hadn’t considered.
You revisit a move — and something clicks.

That’s what makes learning together valuable.
