OXLEY TEAM – Highlights over the last few weeks!
From creating special Father’s Day projects, engaging in motor and coordination activities, to learning about individual strengths, interests and goals — the Oxley Team have been enjoying a great mix of activities, community access, exercise, learning and lots of fun!
We have also been focusing on developing communication skills, social skills and positive friendships within the day centre setting, encouraging everyone to connect, participate and support one another.
Monday – Musical Melodies and exercise in the park 🎶🌳
Tuesday – Substation 33 and shopping 🛍️
Wednesday – Sports Complex for soccer and basketball, followed by cooking in the afternoon ⚽🏀🍳
Thursday – Gardening, RSL dancing and bowling 🌱💃🎳
Friday – Community Access and getting out and about in the community.
Every day brings new experiences and opportunities to build skills, develop confidence, improve communication, form positive friendships, stay active, connect with others and work towards individual goals — while, most importantly, having fun together!
