Claire's Cottage is a small, family operated NDIS Service provider supporting adults with Disability in Brisbane & surrounds.

We are passionate about developing our participants independence and quality of life by encouraging them to achieve their goals. Claire's Cottage is a small, family operated NDIS Service provider focused on developing life and social skills, promoting education, and independence for adults with disabilities. Our goal is to help assimilate our participants into the community so as to be seen as val

ued members of society. To achieve this, we focus on supporting the development of independent living and social skills, encouraging individual interests and promoting positive experiences throughout all of these endeavors. Participation and engagement withing the community is so important for people with disability as it creates positive experiences, improves self-esteem and self-confidence, builds friendships and networks, encourages independence and creates a sense of self-worth. Our services include:
🌻 Mon-Fri Life Skills Day Program (including independent living and social skills)
🌻Weekend Group Social & Community Activities
🌻1:1 In Home Support: Independent living skills (cooking meals, household chores, shopping etc.)
🌻1:1 Social support (safe outdoor venues or activities at home)
🌻 Short Term Respite Accommodation
🌻 Group Holidays
🌻Transport assistance
🌻Any other personalised supports that will help your family to get through this difficult time. We take great pride in our personal service: understanding the goals of our participants and how the lead to increased quality of life and independence. We support our participants on a day to day basis, working towards these goals, monitoring their progress and identifying the next steps required to achieve them. We continuously encourage, motivate, acknowledge and validate our participants in every aspect of engagement. They are partners in the service they receive and are consulted regarding all outcomes that affect them, encouraging decision-making and freedom of choice in all areas of their life.

Busting out the beats again at drumming today! 🎶🥁 Our Thursday crew soaked up the sunshine, made some music and had plenty of fun along the way. What a way to spend the day! 💃🕺

🌉💪 What a day for our Thursday crew! Some of the group took on the challenge of walking across the Ted Smout Memorial Bridge — an epic 5.8km return walk! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️👏

Meanwhile, back at base, the rest of the crew were busy cooking up a storm on the BBQ 🌭, making sure our brave walkers had a well-earned feast waiting for them when they returned!

A fantastic day of teamwork, friendship, fitness and fun — and plenty of tired legs by the end of it! Well done to everyone who got involved and took on the challenge! 🥰🙌

🎨✨Our Friday Art Group had a wonderful day visiting the Pine Rivers Show to see their fantastic artwork proudly displayed in the showcase.

There was so much to see and do, with everyone enjoying the atmosphere, exploring the displays, and celebrating the creativity, effort, and passion that went into each artwork.

A huge congratulations to one of our talented participants who received a Highly Commended Award for their amazing piece! 🏆👏 We were incredibly proud of their achievement, and we are just as proud of every single participant for their outstanding artwork, creativity, and dedication. Every piece showcased the unique talents and hard work of our amazing artists. 💙

It was a fantastic day filled with creativity, community, and plenty of smiles. We loved seeing everyone’s pride as they admired their work on display. ✨

✨🧩 Thursday at Claire’s Cottage – Puzzle Café! ☕💙

Our Thursday group enjoyed a relaxing morning at Puzzle Café, where everyone had the opportunity to challenge themselves with a variety of puzzles while enjoying great conversation and each other’s company.

Participants also practiced their everyday living skills by making themselves a cuppa, building confidence and independence with everyday tasks in a fun and supportive environment.

It was a wonderful day filled with teamwork, problem-solving, laughter, and plenty of tea and coffee! ☕🧩😊

Our Thursday group recently enjoyed a magical day out in Brisbane City, catching the train together to visit the Disney Pop-Up Shop! 🚆✨🏰

From browsing all the Disney treasures to soaking up the city atmosphere, everyone had a fantastic time. Outings like these are a great way to build independence, practise travel skills, strengthen social connections, and create wonderful memories together.

🏆✨ Companion League 2026 Wrap Up! ✨🏆

What an amazing season it has been! Our team celebrated the end of Companion League 2026 with a special presentation, receiving their well-earned trophies and celebrating all the effort, teamwork and achievements throughout the year. 🙌🎳

Congratulations to everyone involved — we’re so proud of the dedication, friendships and memories made along the way! 💙

Two of our fearless leaders, Hana & Julie, were honored to be invited to a round table discussion last night with our Federal Member for Dickson Ali France MP and The Hon Jenny McAllister MP Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. It was an enlightening discussion with these powerhouse women and fellow grass roots, small providers in our region.

Being deeply connected to the people and families in our community, it meant so much to be included in the conversation, to share your voice and share your experiences.

We came away feeling both inspired and informed. It was encouraging to hear about the exciting work happening across our region and to learn more about the proposed changes to the NDIS.

Jenny's genuine passion for her portfolio, detailed knowledge and clear explanation of the proposed reforms gave us a much deeper understanding of the direction ahead for us and for our families.

We know that change can feel uncertain and, at times, frightening for participants, families, support workers and providers. At the heart of everything, however, we remain strong supporters of the purpose of the NDIS: helping people with disability live more independent, connected and meaningful lives with genuine choice, control and access to the reasonable and necessary supports they need to pursue their goals.

We were reassured to hear how the proposed changes are intended to protect that purpose and strengthen the Scheme for the people and communities who rely on it.

We also made some invaluable connections with other providers who share our commitment to disability inclusion and stronger local communities. We hope these conversations are the beginning of lasting relationships and future opportunities to work together.

What a privilege it was to be included in such a select and respected group, and to represent small providers, local families and our wonderful community.

Christmas came early for our Friday group as we celebrated Christmas in July! 🎄❄️🎅

Our participants had a wonderful time getting into the festive spirit, enjoying Christmas-themed activities. It was a fantastic day filled with fun, friendship, and lots of Christmas cheer!
