⭐ Lisa Hardwick: A Story of Loss, Strength and Courage ⭐

We are honoured to welcome Lisa Hardwick as a keynote speaker at .

Lisa Hardwick is a wife and mother from Central Queensland who, for the first time, is courageously sharing her family’s story following the loss of her husband, Bradley Hardwick, in the 2019 mining incident at Moranbah North Mine.

This is not a typical keynote. It is not rehearsed or delivered from a professional lens. Instead, it is a raw and deeply personal account from a woman whose life changed forever in an instant, and the journey that has followed for her and her two children.

Through honesty, vulnerability and strength, Lisa brings to light the true human impact behind every workplace incident. Her story is a powerful reminder of the lasting effects these events have on families, friends and communities.

Lisa’s message challenges us all to look beyond procedures and compliance. It calls on each of us to remember why speaking up, looking out for one another, and making safe decisions matters.

We’re proud to share that Miners' Promise, in collaboration with Acting Consulting Training Australia, will present The Gift at .

Inspired by over 15 years of supporting families, companies and communities in the aftermath of tragedy, The Gift is a powerful industrial theatre experience. Through the deeply human stories of three individuals, a Senior Site Executive, a Construction Superintendent and a family member, we journey from the moment of tragedy through to recovery two years later.

Professionally written and delivered, this moving production explores compassion, resilience, connection, recovery and hope. It creates a safe space for an important conversation. While we strive to prevent incidents, when tragedy does occur, providing the best possible care in the toughest moments is what truly matters.

Don’t miss this impactful experience.

⚠️ Early bird registrations close on 3 July, so now is the time to secure your place.
