The Sound Exchange ’26 – Audiology in Action came to life at Accor Stadium 👂

Across the program, we exchanged ideas, shared practical learning, explored new techniques, strengthened clinical skills, and connected as a profession.

Feeling inspired, and excited to bring this learning back into practice — we have new equipment and procedures introduced into our service to our community and patients to improve diagnostic and patient outcomes.

-EL # Implantable Solutions

In April, we completed intensive training with MED-EL on implantable hearing solutions.

MED-EL is a global leader in implantable hearing solutions, headquartered in Austria, with a strong focus on research, innovation, and the improvement of hearing outcomes worldwide.

Over two full-day sessions, we covered:
• MED-EL technology
• Cochlear implant processors (SONNET 3 and RONDO 3)
• Middle ear and bone conduction systems (ADHEAR, BONEBRIDGE, SOUNDBRIDGE)
• Candidacy and surgical overview
• Fitting workflow and mapping
• Hands-on practice and case discussions

All to further expand our portfolio of hearing solutions and ensure we can offer the best possible hearing care tailored to each patient.

ACE Your Hearing Sessions – Thank you!

We recently held two sessions of our ACE Your Hearing Program, and it was a truly rewarding experience 🙌

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their stories, and contributed to such meaningful conversations.

This program goes beyond hearing and communication strategies. It focuses on building social connection, confidence, and emotional well-being. As participants, both people with reduced hearing and those who communicate with them shared that hearing loss can impact much more than just sound, affecting relationships, confidence, and everyday engagement.

🎓✨ Finally… Officially a Master of Science in Clinical Audiology! ✨🙌🏻👂🏼🦻

I’m so proud to share something that has been a long time in the making. This journey took longer than planned and came with a lot of effort, late nights of study, clinical hours, financial challenges, and yes… a few tears along the way.

But it was also the catalyst that gave me the courage to open Beyond Hearing and to be here today, serving my community in a way that truly aligns with my values: putting people, care, and connection first.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the support, patience, encouragement, motivation, and for those who simply took the time to listen when I needed it most 👂🏼💚

This milestone isn’t just about a qualification, it’s about continuing to provide thoughtful, independent, evidence based and personalised hearing care to every person who walks through my doors.
