Queensland’s newest public hospital has opened in Greater Springfield, one of the State’s fastest growing communities. 🙌

Mater Hospital Springfield, delivered in partnership between the Queensland Government and Mater, is a state-of-the-art 186-bed hospital that will provide care for around 185,000 patients every year.

It will deliver a broad range of public healthcare services including emergency care, maternity services, intensive care, surgery, paediatrics and specialist outpatient services. 🏥

The hospital’s Emergency Department and paediatric unit will officially open on Monday 25 May, completing the staged opening of services that began in April.

Emily is a dietitian, triathlete, folk musician, dog mum, and an AuDHD practitioner who brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work.

She is passionate about creating a space where every body and brain feels welcomed, heard, and supported. Emily works alongside her clients throughout their nutrition journey, offering care that is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in understanding each individual’s unique experience.

Her approach to nutrition is thoughtful and down-to-earth, focusing on building sustainable and realistic strategies that align with each person’s goals and lifestyle.

Emily supports people across a broad range of nutrition concerns, with a particular interest in neuro-affirming and weight-inclusive care. She works alongside individuals living with chronic health conditions, navigating burnout, or seeking support around disordered eating.

Whether you are seeking more energy, greater ease, or a clearer path forward, Emily’s work is grounded in practical, inclusive care and respect for all bodies and minds.
