Footy fever in Fitzroy Crossing! 🏉

Our participant Chris is stoked with the addition of the AFL Wildcard, seeing his 10th-placed Blues make their way into the final 8! 💙 Carlton Football Club

But the footy excitement doesn’t stop there… Chris will be cheering on the mighty Noonkanbah Blues in a fortnight, with the team already securing their spot in the Central Kimberley Football League Grand Final! 🏆 Central Kimberley Football Basketball League

Our KNX team attended the Kununurra Disability & Aged Care Expo, joining local providers and community members to share information about the supports available across the region. 📍

Our KNX team had a wonderful time meeting with families, answering questions, and connecting with people from the Kununurra community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, we loved being part of this fantastic event! 💙

Nothing beats breakfast by the Fitzroy River. 🌿🍳

Zoe (OT) and Troy (PT) enjoyed a cooking session with one of their participants, preparing delicious bacon and egg rolls while working towards everyday living goals. The session focused on building confidence in meal preparation and practical strategies to support independence at home. 🤝

It’s always rewarding to see participants developing skills in real-life environments that are meaningful to them. 🩵

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating one year of Kimberley Therapy Services in Kununurra! 🎉💙

It was fantastic to see participants, families, community members and local service providers join us for the afternoon.

There was plenty of delicious food, sweet treats, and of course, birthday cake as we celebrated an incredible first year of supporting the Kununurra community. 🎂

Thank you for your continued support, we loved sharing this milestone with the people who have made it all possible! 🌟

We spent the afternoon at the Rural Health West Careers Expo at Curtin University, connecting with students and sharing the opportunities available as a graduate working with KTS. 🌟

We were especially proud to see one of our very own, Elliana, representing allied health in the Kimberley as a guest speaker on the panel. She shared her journey as a speech pathologist and gave students valuable insight into what it is like to live and work in rural and remote communities. 👤

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet future allied health professionals and chat about the rewarding careers and experiences the Kimberley has to offer.

Thank you to Rural Health West for hosting such a great event! 👏

Meet Katie, a final-year ECU Occupational Therapy student with us for a seven-week placement 🌟

During her time with us, Katie will be supporting our Broome-based team and joining outreach visits to the Looma and Derby communities, gaining valuable experience delivering occupational therapy across both clinic and remote settings📍

We look forward to having Katie as part of the team over the coming weeks and supporting her as she continues her journey towards becoming an Occupational Therapist 👏
