Some sad news to share (and yes, I can’t believe I’m doing this again a year later) 💔

Cable Beach Chiropractic will be closing its doors in 3 weeks time, with our last clinic day being Friday 2nd October.

When I opened CBC, I wanted it to be a continuous, reliable option here in Broome, somewhere you could always turn up and be looked after, and somewhere that gave you a genuine choice in how you receive care. Sadly the reality of staffing a remote practice has caught up to us, and we have no other option but to close.

It has been such a privilege to care for this community, and I’m grateful it lasted even a little bit beyond myself.

Don’t let neck aches follow you into September 🌻 here’s the neck exercises we recommend the most at Cable Beach Chiropractic:
1. Neck mobility. Simple, tried and true! Start seated or standing. Relax your shoulders. Look left - hold for 10sec. Look right, hold for ten sec. Now up, then down, then ear to your shoulder, ear to the other shoulder. Hold all for 10 sec. Repeat 2-3x per day, or as needed.
2. Trap stretch. Often the weight of the head is enough. If you use your hand for more stretch DONT pull - just a gentle pressure on the head is enough!
3. Cat cow. For neck pain?? Yes! Often a stiff upper back or even lack of low back mobility causes upstream problems. This exercise helps so many things 😌

Other things to trouble shoot:
✨ desk ergonomics
✨ pillow - if yours is over 2 years old you may need a new one
✨ other spinal issues
✨ time to update your glasses prescription
✨ stress management

Neck pain and stiffness is often multi factorial. We don’t just treat the symptoms - we help you get to the root cause for more holistic and lasting results 💅🏻
